ThreeRays Signs Agreement with Far West Technology to Expand Film Dosimeters in China and Asian

In June 2025, ThreeRays (Beijing) Technology Co., Ltd. (ThreeRays) signed agreement with Far West Technology (FWT), a globally renowned supplier of radiation processing film dosimeters. ThreeRays will become the authorized partner of Far West Technology in China and the entire Asian region. It will promote the film dosimeter products of Far West Technology, offering customers a wider range of dosimeter options and facilitating the technological upgrade of quality measurement in the Asian radiation processing field.

Far West Technology is a high - tech company that mainly engages in the design, manufacture, and sale of radiation measurement equipment. It is located in Goleta, California, and was established in 1971. The company's radiation dosimeters are primarily radiation-color-changing  film dosimeters, with models FWT-60 and FWT-70. The FWT-60 is a high-range dosimeter for radiation processing, with a dose range of 0.5 - 200 kGy. The FWT-70 is a low-range dosimeter for radiation processing, with a dose range of 0.01 - 20 kGy. Both types of dosimeters are measured using a visible-light spectrophotometer.

As one of the largest film dosimeter manufacturers globally, Far West Technology's products are widely applied in radiation sterilization and scientific research fields. 

Leveraging its profound market presence in China and Asia, as well as its cooperation with Aerial (France) in dosimetry systems and alanine dosimeters, ThreeRays has introduced the radiation-color-changing film dosimeter products of Far West Technology. This move aims to provide regional customers with a greater variety of dosimeters and a broader dose range, better meeting the customer demand for precise and efficient radiation processing process monitoring and quality control.
